Yuri's Night Huntsville 2012 World Space Party: Make an Impact

On Saturday April 7, 2012 Huntsville will experience a premier Yuri’s Night event at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration. Huntsville will celebrate alongside more than 1,000 parties around the globe on 6 continents. Huntsville, of all places in this country, needs and deserves to have a premiere event to celebrate the accomplishments that have made our city internationally renowned.

Last year's event was well attended with more than 750 people in attendance and the event was covered by every major media outlet (many with multiple stories and live 'look-ins' during the event) and many local publications.

New for this year is a 5k and 1 mile Costumed Fun Run the morning of April 7th. Please stay tuned for additional information. Also at Yuri's Night 2012 we will have our first Silent Auction to support CAJA, any and all donations of products or services worth more than $50 in total value are welcome and very much appreciated! If you are interesting in sponsorship, donating products or services or volunteering at the 5k and 1 mile run, please

The event will include all things mentioned below and more

Event benefits CAJA Friends, Inc.

The event will be hosted by CAJA Friends, Inc. CAJA (Court Appointed Juvenile Advocate) volunteers work to better the lives of abused, neglected and abandoned children, so they can grow up dreaming big dreams like all other kids. All children deserve enough security in their lives to feel they can dream big. Space exploration has always been one of humanity’s biggest dreams. So it is fitting that CAJA Friends, Inc will host this celebration of Space Exploration to benefit the local CAJA program.
